  • From April to October, you may witness the salt harvest process in action.
  • Pink flamingo season runs from April to September.
  • Wear light, comfortable clothing.
  • Closed-toe, comfortable shoes are recommended.
  • Bring a hat or cap and sunglasses.
  • Don’t forget biodegradable insect repellent and/or sunscreen.
  • Stay hydrated: bring water or a refreshing beverage.
  • Make sure your phone or camera is fully charged—you won’t want to miss the view.
  • To protect the health & safety of the lagoons essential to the quality of our salt and preserve local wildlife, pets are not allowed.
  • Swimming is not allowed in the pink lagoons due to their high salinity, which may be harmful to your health.
